Chinese Heritage Camp Information
CHINESE HERITAGE CAMP INFORMATION 2005/6
The Xiao Pengyou Chinese Heritage Camp sponsored by Journeys of the Heart
Adoptions Services, returns in 2006. Heritage Camp is for families with
children (age 6 or older or entering the 1st grade in September)
adopted from China. Childcare is available for siblings.
Camp is a weekend of activities with fellow adoptive families, outdoor
fun, dining together, and partaking in a multitude of adult and
children's cultural activities. Most workshops are led by people
of Chinese heritage and may include arts & crafts, adoption
workshop, adult adoptee panel, Chinese cooking, Chinese dance, calligraphy,
story time, songs & games, Chinese yo-yo, tai chi, mah jong,
and Chinese brush painting.
Registration flyers are mailed mid-March. To be included in the
mailing list please send me your name and mailing address if interested.
