From Geoff And
Carolyn's Letter
"We
have purposely created a lifestyle (both personal and
professional) where we are able to do what we love to do
every single day...In the next couple of years, we plan
on building a log cabin vacation home on a few acres of
land that we own in the mountains of Idaho. This is a
special place where a child can discover all that nature
has to offer, from listening to the Elk bugle, to
casting a fly rod into the river, to learning to
snowboard.

From Jeff and
Jessica's letter..."We look forward to taking a child on
camping trips, hikes, long drives, and seeing new places
and people. We are caring and respectful individuals,
who believe in providing both the safety of boundaries
and opportunities for fun learning. We have the time to
devote to a baby and so much love and nurturing to
give. Financially, Jessica will be able to quit her job
at the library and be a stay-at-home mom. We believe in
having an “open” adoption, and see the birth mother as a
person of respect. We wish to facilitate the
maintaining of a connection."

From Dawn
and Brian's Letter..."Our family and our friends are the
most important things in our lives. We would love for
you to be involved in your child’s future in the ways
you feel most comfortable. Your child will always know
how much you love him or her and the wonderful
opportunity you have given. We will always honor you as
the woman who blessed us with a child. Whatever you
decide, we wish you the best in life, health and
happiness."

From Alisha and
Shane's Letter..."It
is our intention to keep you as involved in your child’s
life as you would like to be. We feel that for your
child to develop to their full potential that he should
know his mother. There should always be an open line of
communication because you should know what is going on
in your child’s life. It is important for him to know
that his mother has and always will care about his
well-being."

From Troy and Lili's
Letter..."Lili has worked with birth mothers who have
made the difficult decision to plan for an adoption. As
a result, she knows the importance of contact with birth
families so we welcome openness in the adoption process
if you would like it. We want you to be comfortable
with the type and amount of contact you have."

From Bob
and Darian's Letter..."Our house is in a quiet tree
lined neighborhood with many school age children and
younger. The grade school is in walking distance from
our house, and there are also a couple of parks in
walking/biking distance. We especially love the
neighborhood because of the friendly relationships we
have with our neighbors."

From Kris and Harold's
Letter..."We can hardly wait to open our home and hearts
to a child to become a member of our family. If you
chose our family, we will be eternally grateful and will
make sure that the child understands how lucky they are
to have birth parents that love them so much. We will
make you proud that you chose our family. We want the
child to know the courage it took you to make such a
difficult and important decision. We are ready for this
life-long commitment to become a reality and we look
forward to sharing the growth of your child with you
through pictures & letters."

From Jason and Kim's
Letter..."We would feel comfortable sharing as much or
as little as you want. We want you to know we have
thought long and hard about being parents, adoption and
the emotional and financial responsibilities that
entails. We have a very happy home. Our lives would be
truly blessed with a baby in it. We would give your
precious child a wonderful life and give them an
excellent foundation for future success."

From Cindy and Jobey's
Letter..."We
live in the beautiful State of Oregon. We still live in
the town that we grew up in. We love it here and can’t
think of anyplace we would rather live. It is a great
community with that ‘down home feel’. It offers great
schools and plenty of parks and outdoor activities for
the family to enjoy. The location is what we love about
living here."

From Matt and
Danielle's Letter..."We
have an extended network of family and friends who are
so supportive of our decision to adopt, and all are
looking forward to the new addition to our family. We
are excited to raise our family at the same time as our
siblings and friends, most of whom have or are expecting
children. Our support system is strong and we are
looking forward to all we have to learn as first time
parents."

From Arlyn and Susan's
letter..."Each of our children is encouraged to develop
his or her individual gifts. In addition to school, some
of their activities include 4-H projects, sports, and
music. We have a large yard with a swing set and play
area. The children love to swing and play ball in the
yard. We also enjoy having family picnics. Our favorite
family vacation is Disneyland."

From Matt and Jamie's
letter..."We cannot express how excited and appreciative
we are to have the opportunity to build our family
through adoption. We plan on parenting with love,
compassion, respect and honesty. We believe in having
lots of fun along the way and encouraging our child to
express themselves in their own unique way. We will
provide them with a Christian foundation of faith and
love and the ethics that encompass that."
