NAFA Family Campout

Come for the Day or the Weekend

You don't have to wait until your child has arrived to attend the NAFA campout July 14-16. This is a great place to meet other parents, watch the children and anticipate all that it means to be a family.

 

 

Baby & Toddler Care Class for Adoptive Families

If you are adopting domestically or internationally, if your child will be between the ages of birth to 18 months, if you want to know the specifics of caring for a new child in your home, NAFA's Baby & Toddler Care Class for Adoptive Families is where you want to be.

There are two more classes during 2006: Saturday, June 10th and Saturday October 7th. Registrations for both classes are being taken now.

TIME: 8:30 - 4:00

LOCATION: Legacy Emanuel Hospital

CHECK-IN: Begins at 8:00

Great Expectations for Waiting Families

Going through the adoption process and looking for someone who understands the paperwork, the wait, the emotions? Come to NAFA's waiting families group which meets once a month on a Friday evening. There's always a speaker or a topic to get things started and plenty of time to network with other waiting families. Share your joy, your fears, your ups and downs, your adoption journey!

Become a NAFA Member

 NAFA membership is $25/year for a family and includes the bi-monthly newsletter, NAFA NEWS along with several free or reduced-fee social and educational events throughout the year.

NAFA (Northwest Adoptive Families Association) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven support group for adoptive families and those interested in adoption. NAFA is actively involved in education, advocacy and support for its nearly four hundred member families located throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington. NAFA is comprised of adoption professionals, prospective adoptive families and members of the adoption triad: birth parents, adoptees and adoptive families.
