Hello!
My name is
Kimberly Sprecher and I am thrilled to be the Domestic Program Coordinator at
Journeys of the Heart. I could not ask for a more rewarding position than being
able to help loving families grow together. I grew up in Hillsboro, Oregon and
realized my passion for human services throughout high school. I graduated from
Oregon State University with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences and
a minor is Psychology.
Before working
with Journeys of the Heart, I was a Child Welfare Intern for the Oregon
Department of Human Services in Albany, Oregon where I had the opportunity to
work within the State adoption and foster care system. My internship
strengthened my dedication to adoption and increased my desire to work with
children and families throughout the country. Additionally, I worked with the
Oregon Family Support Network to create a Life Skills program for teens within
the Benton County community.
I am delighted
to be working at Journeys of the Heart and look forward to meeting each one of
